First of Finley's Room

We are starting to put together Finley's nursery. We shampooed the carpet yesterday and moved out anything that wasn't going to be hers. Today we tackled putting together the crib. It really wasn't difficult at all- I was the brains of the operation. Now we just have to paint the walls (or should I say Grammie has to paint) and buy the bedding. Our chair is coming in tomorrow- YAY!!! Here is a sneak peek of the crib.

19 week Ultrasound

Today was the 19th week ultrasound. It was also the ultrasound to find out the gender! Much to my surprise (not Brian though)- we are having a little baby GIRL!!!! She is perfectly healthy and super active. She weighs in at a whopping 11 ounces (must take after her dad). Her brain and her heart look good. She is measuring at 5 days ahead of her due date like she has been the whole pregnancy. So we could actually have her in November instead of December.

So after a very long day and even longer night, I am posting the very first post on our new family blog. We are looking forward to Wednesday and finding out if its a boy or girl. For now, the dogs are really worn out and I am too!
